My first nonlinear narration [small world], was more or less my first work on a computer. I did this for my vordiplom (bachelor's degree) at the University of the Arts, Berlin, in the Class of Prof. Joachim Sauter. It was finished in 1997. In 1999 it was published by Mediamatic Magazine, Amsterdam. It's a simple collection of 52 stories, about growing up in a small town.

[INTERFACE]

In 1997/1998 kri schönborn, christian frey and me did a work called [interface]. we had persons talking about their lives. an artificial face was used as an interface to access the stories and the history of each person. depending on the way the user interacts with the face he/she learns about different parts of the persons life.
